What? No vampires? Maybe Werewolves? Zombies? Aliens? Dinosaurs? No?

Then what's the point of another film? winkngrin

Unreal just how much they made Day-Lewis look like Lincoln. I will be watching this on opening day. I really hope this has some really well shot Civil War battles.

Ugh no thanks. This will end up being another Spielberg film that's light on history, and heavy on agenda. Kind of like Schindler's List for the Civil War. Bet they'll end up showing this to high school kids rather than actually educate them about Lincoln and the Civil War.

(But yeah DDL looks amazing as Lincoln)

So tell me, what about "Schindler's List" was historically inaccurate? And what agenda did you see besides the fact that the Holocaust was a horrific chapter of history?

I see your Lincoln with dinasaurs and raise you THIS for "could have been awesome"....

This is either going to become Lincoln's seminal film biopic, or another "Amistad"...

Yeah, Amistad is a pretty forgettable film but then again, its subject matter wasn't exactly something mainstream audiences want to see.

I think I would have chosen a different analogy to describe this since the the producer of Schindler's List (Gerald Molen) along with Dinesh D'souza have recently released this FILM

Wow, what ever happened to the strange notion of watching a film first before making a judgment on it?
