They roughed me up a bit (US law enforcement), but I didn't take it personally...after all, if I was an American male, I'd be sick with envy too. My parents, brothers and sisters, psychiatrist, and bookie were a bit worried for a day or two, but are happy that I'm still alive. So, all's well, that ends well, eh?
To the American law enforcement officials down there: please don't be too hard on her. I've had this happen so often, it's become routine now.
No harm was done. She had a need that couldn't be met in her present location (the continental US), and decided she was going to get herself a real man come hell or high water. I like that 'go get 'em' attitude you guys are famous for. Anyway, like I said, no harm, no foul.
