My pedals, on Win7, won't go back to "0%" throttle when I pull the throttle all the way back.
Just goes to 12%.

Is there a fix?

------------------

Also, just checking....
Has anyone come up with a fix for the 'widescreen' problem?
What has been the best setting for this?

I searched and could only find this;

Width=1680, Height=1050

In the conf.ini file:

[window]
width=1920
height=1080

save aspect=1 (<- change "1" to "0")

YW. smile The benefit of having "been there".

Your other issue it's new to me, so I don't have the benefit of knowing. Afaik you only have IL2 installed, so there is no way to compare pedal-throttle behaviour in another situation?

It worked fine in WinXP on the same Sim...IL-46.
But on the Win7 OS it seems they don't want to come down to '0' power.
The lowest they will go is 12% power.

They are recognized in the Win7 system...but there is no way to 'adjust' them like in XP.
No way to zero them out.
Must be a fix in the Conf. file.

I remember seeing someone else mention that in my travels...but can't find it now.
I'll get it.....thanks for the help on the Wide Screen smile.

Have you recalibrated the controllers in windows? Weird that it's a combination problem...

Didn't see a way to 'recalibrate' them in Win7 OS.
I could do it in XP...but not in Win7.
At least I couldn't find a way.
It just acknowledges that they are functioning properly, but no way to "ZERO" them out.
Or calibrate them.

Not like WinXP.

AFAIK...but the system is new to me.
I was thinking you could do it in the conf file in IL2-46'.

Just built the system, and booted Win7 for the first time.
Checked to make sure they are recognized, and fired up the game.
Didn't see a way to calibrate them in 'propertys' section of Win7.

If you know of a way, to zero them out in Win7, let me know.
Appreciate the response.

Murphy.

You can recalibrate in win7.

IIRC, go to control panel and click on game devices and then select properties and then "advanced"... I'm not at my desktop, but it's something like that.
If that doesn't work, post back and I'll give a better step-by-step smile

Yes Gambler, right you are.

I found it.
Just didn't look hard enough the first time.
It's in the properties section, but advanced tab, then 'calibrate', but a little weird.
Treats it like a joystick, but it's a throttle.
I'll try it in the game tomorrow....should solve the problem.

Appreciate it very much, thanks for the time. smile

(Should'da had that myself...just didn't do a good job of playing around long enough.
Sorry......)

If it's a CH product, you really should use CH Control Manager to calibrate.
