Suppression does not seem to be modeled, yet it says it is in the tips window... anyone know yes or no, or confirm my issue...

This first picture is me, suppressing a sniper, in the middle of the suppression he turns out and hits me once in the head for the kill, as the kill stat screen shows... this drives me nuts, and the fact that the shotguns are way to powerful in this game...

Nope not modeled unfortunately, but I drilled into some guys today use heat. Also, even though their vision doesn't get impaired, lots of LMG fire is v scary and does tend to keep peoples heads down.

You can suppress successfully with any weapon, especially LMGs. Semi-auto sniper rifles and SMGs can keep an enemy's head down/immobilize him, too, especially as suppression has rather visceral effect on your immediate surroundings when incoming rounds start chewing up your cover. What's more, certain types of cover are penetrable by larger-caliber rounds. If by "suppression working" you mean a mechanic that literally glues you in cover, no, it doesn't do that, it's more realistic; you have total freedom to manauver while under suppression but it will get you killed.

Mag, you may have got killed by a crit shot.

Also noticed your armour Mags. Upgrade your armour and make sure you use the 'gold' grade armour inserts. I use the critical hit, health and bullet damage ones in my armour. I've only been killed a couple of times by a single hit.

Yes, weak armor confronted by a high-crit weapon is much more likely to result in a kill-shot.

understood... but the suppression issue is still there and bothers me more then anything else, not just in this game but most games... If I stream a steady wall of lead to-wards your direction, I don't car how good your armor or weapon is, you should be able to pop out and pull the trigger for a head shot... i wish I would of had that in video, because i spent 75 rounds during that interaction.

BTW, you can see in the mini-map I had teammates flanking him, so that was a planned move and it failed due to the lack of suppression. wink
