September 21 (release date) falls on a Friday. It looks like a long weekend of Borderlands 2 coop is in store! I have the Xbox version for the original game. Did they ever get the PC version sorted? I was going to buy the Xbox version for the new game.

I'm torned... alot of people say how great Borderlands was, and how great this will be... I bought and played Borderlands but hated that it would take a full mag plus to bring down most bad guys/creatures... so I told myself I'm skipping 2, but friends keep praising it and I keep debating it in my mind. wink

You wont like it magnum. It is not really a shooter. Like you said some monsters can take a whole lot to take down and everything is based on your level and your weapon. If you did not like the first one I would really pass on this one.

Put the money towards something you are sure to enjoy at least a little bit lol.

What Master said Magnum. If you didn't like the first game, Borderlands 2 will be more of the same with a different storyline, characters, probably new guns and vehicles, etc. The graphics are kind of cartoonish as you can see from the trailer. With all that said, it has some pretty darn good coop gameplay. If it is like the last game you can play the whole story in coop mode. The maps are huge and the game has a sandbox feel to it. You can go anywhere and do anything within the limits of the game or you can complete quests and follow the storyline or a mix of both.
