In Workshop is the Button Reset OFF files, you will lose all your pilots. But it's only of use for a plain vanilla OFF

If you trying to get rid of MODS that no longer turn you on ? ? ??

If you didn't make a backup of your HitR-files, then it is the same,
as if your DVD was broken - no chance.
You could buy it again - or wait for WOFF.

Wow. Ya know, it's no wonder this sim market is so niche, because it's behind the curve by 15 years; not providing a place to redownload your purchased items is thievery.

Can someone upload their files for me to download?

As I said: it's the same when you break your DVD with a game or sim on - you will have to buy a new one.

There were more than one notes and advices to make a backup of your files.

It is not thievery by the sim developers - they gave to you what you paid for.
It was simply your own carelessness.

And of course no one can upload the files for you - THAT would be illegal.

Steam let's you redownload games.
Origin does it
GoG.com does it

Basically every digital distribution outfit on the net does it. Is this going to be the same with WOFF? Lose it and you're screwed? That's ridiculous, sorry I forgot to account for harddrive failure, geez.

I've got HitR in my Documents for just that reaason

Have you got the $10 Version,or did you pay full price

I like the one where you can download all the files for free, but you must be a member. And that is $5 a month

Simple explination I've never looked at it as a game

I got the 10$ one, I'm not going to pay just to be able to redownload my files, if you're going to pay 5$ a month you might as well just rebuy the game when you lose it. Like I said this is a common thing for digital distribution.

Can someone 'send' me the files?

I've made a double backup of HiTR, because when I bought it, it was clearly stated that there wouldn't be no more downloads unless I pay something.
While it was a relative common procedure three years ago, it is not anymore nowadays, at least with games.
So I urge OBD to find a solution for Woff to avoid this kind of situations.

Normally when this happens folks simply drop us an e-mail on support with their original order number and we simply arrange a re-download.
Quite simple really - no need to lose it in the forum.

Also one can buy redownload insurance which was a nominal (pittance) amount on top of the price you paid for HITR when you bought it, which allows for unlimited untimed downloads...

Finally we dont control the distribution.....Avangate do.

Was it always this way, Winder? I had the idea that wasn't possible. I must be wrong.
Anyway glad to know that.

Yes we have made allowances for folks - genuine purchasers - but we have had very few contact us saying they 'lost' it and demand a new one.

Yes and we pay for the bandwidth to allow the re-download - go figure - so it costs us money.

You could also burn it on a DVD - just to be safe.
