If you like and use the photo and movie maker from M$... 2012 version released today with a few, but not much, upgrades/changes... just FYI.... I think MM is a great, free program, IMO...

hmm, i got it from an email from MS, and it stated it was a free encoder.. depending on the level of functionality you want.
