Is the in-game AA working yet with this patch?

The latest beta patches are concentrating on the stability and performance issues. If thats successful they should start concentrating more on the gameplay, AA, and AF issues, etc. There would be no point in fixing anything else, but performance, until average computers can run the sim.

If you are including the naval AA then I can report being taken out by some British flak over the channel.

Well, I can report that Nvidea control panel FSAA/8xCSAA works if you set it to "override application" and turn off the game's alleged AA. I didn't have what I would call stability issues before this anyways. Graphics, including flashing trees and tree shadows look the same, as does the FPS.
Plenty of micro stutters near the ground, landscape a shimmery, flashy mess.
If this patch helps folks who were having the game crash to desktop I guess that's good. For me, it hasn't made anything either better or worse.

I agree, I've never had stability or performance issues, just gameplay issues. Unfortunately the sim couldn't go forward until it addressed these critical issues effecting the majority with lesser systems.

Thats not the game, most likely its your NVidia settings in the control panel causing it ( the shimmering). The description showing when you choose different settings in the panel even uses the word "shimmering" ( Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization = turn off )

Oh jeeeezzzz!!! duh I can't believe I mistook AA (anisotropic filtering) for Anti Aircraft. Honestly, I was not even trying to be my usual goofy self. Sorry about that.

And BTW, I just tried out using Nvidia Control Panel Global overide settings for FSAA and AA (each 2x) and it sure made a difference.
