On August 12, 2012 MAIW (Military AI Works) celebrates its sixth anniversary. MAIW was established in 2006 to address the lack of military AI traffic in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 by a very small group of flight sim enthusiasts. Since then, the team at MAIW has grown exponentially to include many talented people with various skills that have allowed us produce over 200 releases so far. The future at MAIW remains bright as we continue to work on many more military themed packages and models. We are extremely grateful for all of the support the community has provided us since our creation and we look forward to continuing to put more military aircraft in your flight simulator skies. Be sure to drop by our website for a very special package release and help us celebrate our sixth anniversary.

Congratulations on the longevity and growth. And thanks... I didn't even know you folks were out there, now I get to see some military air traffic in addition to the default stuff. smile

Edit: Before I get too excited, can these packs be used in FSX? The first couple I opened up all said "for Flight Simulator 2004". ??

I'm glad you finally found us thumbsup Our stuff is built for FS2004 but a lot of our users have found ways to get it working fine in FSX, there's even a support thread to assist you. Be sure to drop in and say hello on our forums when you get a chance.

Is there any chance you'll be doing sceneries for FSX? MAIW and some of the ACG sceneries don't play well together.

At this time, its hard to say, our main scenery guy only does FS2004 stuff at the moment and our current infrastructure isn't really set up to develop for both sims, will that change? I'm not really sure, the time investment just to get stuff out that will work with FS2004 is massive, if you were ever given a peek at the staff only "in progress" forums you'd probably eek2 but heck, I didn't think we'd be around this long so who knows what changes or sims we'll expand to.
