Sorry to post this here, but my registration on the Desastersoft forum has not come though yet after waiting a couple of days. Hopefully someone here might know the answer until I can post over there.

I bought the Wick v Dundas campaign soon after the English version release, but have only just started to have a look at it ... very impressed so far! Will definitely be buying further Desastersoft campaigns once the English versions become available.

I have started the 609 Sqdn Campaign and have done the two training missions and 3 of the main campaign missions. Of the three non-training missions, I got "success" on two and "failed" one...but survived and landed in all three and have been able to progress in the campaign after each sortie.

I am now stuck on the 4th mission (609-4: one where the LW are attacking Ventnor) ... I have done the mission 6+ times...never been killed, landed safely each time (once a survived crash landing right next to my home airfield). I have gotten a kill (either a 109 or a Do17) on some of the attempts. on others I have not been able to get a kill.

Is there any reason why I cannot progress to the next mission in the campaign..the next button does not appear...only replay miission or leave campaign comes up in the debrief. The fact I have "failed" the mission (don't know what my objectives are to be honest) shouldn't make any difference I understand...especially given i was able to progress with a failed mission previously.

Any Ideas chaps?

Isn't that the one where as LW you have to take out the AAA site? As you listen to the radio, you hear the flight commander change your target during the ingress. If you dont hit the AAA it is mission fail.

So I am guessing that the RAF objective may be to protect either the AAA or the RDF site from being attacked?

Just a guess as I only flew LW in these campaigns so far.

You could always peek at the script...

I'm aware of the Desastersoft help forum RedToo but as I mentioned I am still awaiting an activation email to their forum, that's why I posted here

I suspect we are talking about the same mission HeinKill...I might have a looksie at the script but I doubt i will be able to understand anything...no good at this sort of stuff. For what its worth, I didn't get any messages from Radar Stations or AI pilots in any of the playthroughs so not sure of specific mission goals. I am sure I remember reading somewhere that you could still progress through the campaign even if you fail a mission but perhaps I was wrong. Weird that I failed an earlier mission and still was able to get to the next one though. Perhaps an issue running the beta patch?

No matter, I will figure it out eventually...or they will grant me posting access to their help forum soon.

I hope you do not telling now, that you are using the new Beta of CloD ... Do you use official Version (NOT BETA!)?
Is it, Mission 003, that your Plane jumps in the Air and crashing? I tested the Mission of Ventnor, and it works here.

We cannot support BETA Versions, i hope that this is clear!

Thanks for responding mate, much appreciated.

I have emailed your contact address regarding the activation email as suggested. I don't think it is my security settings as I did receive an initial email from you acknowledging my registration for the forum so I am able to get emails from you. That first email indicated I would receive a second email from you once the forum registration was approved/activated, and that is the one I am waiting on. No dramas mate, I am not in any great rush.

As for the issue with the mission, I think you may have misunderstood me...I am not crashing or anything like that..the game and the mission works perfectly fine...I am able to fly the mission over and over...the problem is that once I have finished the mission and landed safely at base, i am not able to continue the campaign....When back in the menu, I can only replay the same mission or leave the campaign...so i am stuck flying the same mission over and over again. I hope that makes sense. It is mission 609-4 where I am stuck.

I am indeed using the new beta so that may well be the problem. I understand and accept that you can't support Beta versions, so i am happy to wait until the next official patch (and any updates you may choose to do then).

PS: congratulations on your superb work...the 5 missions (including the two training missions) have all been fantastic, and I will be buying your further campaigns once they are translated into English (hopefully soon ...hint hint).

I have fixed the Problem. Pls hit the Update button (Windows Start -> Desastersoft -Wick vs Dundas Update) and than fly it. A missing sign after translation caused the problem. Now it should work.

EDIT: Tested when I got home from work..all is working again Thomas. I got the CH Messages in flgiht and was able to continue the campaign after completing the mission. Thanks again mate.
