...so is it happening...or NOT?!?
My buddy just showed me a "rough trailer" someone supposedly smuggled out of the editing room, looks fanfreakingtastic...but I seem to recall someone saying this project was all but dead in the water? So...anyone know what's going on?

Based on this trailer, it would be a great movie. I have no further info, only high hopes.

The official word from SyFy is that the Blood & Chrome pilot will be aired on SyFy at some undisclosed future date. The follow up series though will be on the web only. It will NOT be aired on tv. http://m.deadline.com/2012/03/battlestar-galactica-blood-and-chrome-cancelled-syfy/

Correction: It will NOT air on SFC. Universal Cable Prods, which produces Blood & Chrome, may still shop the project to other networks. So we may yet see it elsewhere, but I'm not holding my breath. This is B5: Legend of the Rangers all over again. The Jedi Master

This is B5: Legend of the Rangers all over again. The Jedi Master I am 99% certain that no network besides SyFy will be interested in airing the pilot and much less a full series. This is a DOA project and at the very best, a web series.

Today? Any network could bite. AMC, TNT, Spike, USA, Showtime?
I'd have NEVER bet on AMC making a zombie series! They did. So...

Considering SyFy seems to think they have all these studios by the balls, like they Did with MGM and Stargate.
$50 the next Stargate Series by MGM (or Revived one :p) will NOT be on SyFy.

SyFy (or should I say sigh-fy) probably would rather produce "Super-Hamster vs. Godzilla" or other nonsensical crap than give the BSG universe another go after the "Caprica" ratings disaster.
Too bad. I hope some other channel picks it up.
Maybe if they dress the Cylons like medieval knights and call it "Game of Chromes" HBO might pick it up?
