Ok, so I just ordered a new SSD on Amazon, and I'm going to be re-installing Windows 7, which means my DCS titles (Mustang, A-10C, and BS2) as well. Note that BS2 is the upgrade (note standalone) license.

That said, my primary question is what files should I save now, so as to have controls and configurations saved (meaning my new install will have all the content of my old one)?

Apparently you're not supposed to install DCS onto an SSD. I have no idea why but I was looking at the ED Forums for an answer to a different bug and a lot of the responses were confirming that "You're not using an SSD are you?" I'd look into it.

That sounds odd Frederf - do you have any links for that? I run from a SSD ok, so curious on what could be 'too fast' or something smile

I agree with FearlessFrog. I have been running a SSD since December and no issues.

No problems running it from a SSD here either. Runs great and loads super quick smile

I have been running DCS products on an SSD for nearly a year now. In fact, it is now a different SSD and, technically, a different DCS (now world with all of the modules) and I have no issues.

I think it was a mistaken cause (SSD) but instead a problem with CA when not installed in the default directory.
