Can't get Megasux Windows 7 (64bit) to fully recognize my HOTAS Cougar. Anyone climb this particular mountain before? Yes, I've downloaded the 64 bit drivers (2007_HCO_VISTA_64_RC1.exe) from Thrustmaster.

Copy/Pasted from ED Forums...

1. Download drivers http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index...3&pid=50&cid=1 Special attention in download x64, NOT x86.
2. Unplug USB of Cougar of the Computer.
3. Deactive UAC in Windows.
4. Right Click on the Driver downloaded, and press Properties.
5. Go to Compatibility column, in Compatiblity Mode, mark this and select 'Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)'. In bottom mark 'Execute this program with Administrator permissions'. Click OK.
6. Execute installation file drivers, follow all steps, not forgotten installation in one step claim connect the USB of Cougar to the computer. Complete all steps.
7. Restart computer.
8. Click Right in 'HOTAS Cougar Control Panel' and select Properties, in Compatibility column select in bottom 'Execute this program with Administrator permissions'. Click OK.

If that still doesn't work, there might be some clues in this thread on what might be hampering the succes:

This thread got me thinking.
I should probably start a new thread...but maybe someone knows who is reading this one.

Does anyone have a problem installing MSSWFF2 sticks on Win7?

Pro Pedals, or a Pro Throttle?

There are no 64-Bit Drivers for the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2.

The misleading part of it, is when you Google, Some people say they got it to work by just plugging it in, they dont state that they are using 32-bit version of Windows 7 (or they dont know they are).

I have a few devices that Im either gonna replace/retire or save them for a re-build, as they dont have 64-bit drivers, ironically ALL of the devices are input devices. Two ATI remote wonders (the RF ones), and 2 Microsoft Joysticks. I can get a updated remote Wonder and use the manufactures drivers, but they dont work with WMC Anyway.

I was afraid of that.
There goes another $400+ for a Warthog HOTAS.

Will my PRO pedals and PRO throttle work?
