I'm thinking most people who buy the ZR1 don't have to borrow the money, they may even look at it as a huge value for the performance compared to similar almost-super cars that cost a lot more (i.e. Porsche GT2 RS at $200k+, Lexus LFA $300k+ etc.)
The cool thing about the ZR1 IMHO is that it gets such great performance and handling using non-exotic hardware... that makes it an "American Tractor" in some elitist car circles but I think the Nordschleife lap times don't lie, the Nissan GTR is a similar great performing car for the $100k cost.
