When you reinstall COD, Steam will install the sim to the last official patch. The latest beta patch you will have do download from the IC forums, but they are currently putting together the next official patch. This patch will be sent to Steam for download, but no word on when, it will depend on the success of inhouse testing after its built. This is primarily a performance/stability patch, but will probably include some fixes to the AI, FM, etc if all goes well. No you don't get the latest beta auitomatically, but you don't have to do the 'patch on patch' thing either. Just Re-install the game and then install the lastest beta on top.
