Good news and bad news.

Good News: Found a freshly crashed helo on Jenny 087/075. Enemy encampment just up hill from car park completely gone from grid reference 089/077 - 090/077

Bad News: All tents and vehicles we had are gone. Don't know if it was a server wipe or script hackers screwing it all up but it has happened.

I expect a server restart will fix the tents, i do hope they will have the items in them also :}

The cars are a wildcard on server burps, maybe all parked in electro full of our stuff ...................

We were attacked in the car park last night. It is possible that the enemy took our camp and blew up the tents after we left. I'll send a message to the server admin asking if he has lost tents last reset.

I don't think that is the cause of the lost material because their material is gone as well. I think that the script kiddies created the problem when they pulled everyone into the killing fields last night with their massive number script attack.

I agree with that.
I think we should also consider that Jenny was attacked by a non hacker before the script kids showed up. When the server is fixed, I expect that group to reattempt their attacks to steal our camp. I vote its time to move Jenny high value items to another server. Guchiest gear out.
Speaking of which.
We should make a list of items that we feel are high value. We can still keep Jenny as a server, but store items on another server that we deem safer.

When it comes to gear and vehicles, DayZ is like the NFL. "Not For Long." Enjoy it while you have it.

I was on this afternoon with the boys. Stuff seemed to be there. We took the Scooby van to the store and picked up some car parts.

Yeah what a bummer. Got killed today when I inadvertently crawled into a tree stump. Hope they solve all these kind of clipping issues in the Gold version.

On the new character, I did notice that my progress (and gear) was saved even with a server crash ('Session lost'). Had two crashes today on 2 different servers and the gear and progress stayed with me on the rejoin. I guess the newer versions are better in this regard. Prior to this, any progress on a lost session was always unrecoverable.

Yeah, I've been a victim of death by crawling over a tree root. I stay away from trees now when I'm prone. Also, I try to find an open flat spot of ground to log off/on. Stand back from doors and gates when closing them. I got killed closing a door once.
