So far, recently we've had The Walking Dead (excellent, obviously) and Falling Skies (I'm liking it now).
Clearly TWD has done well, and I guess Falling Skies is too since we've got more apocalypse-like shows coming.


Defiance Defiance
Humans vs terraforming aliens
Also this game is tied to an upcoming MMO that will somehow or another march alongside the show, not just replay it. The two could influence each other. Unfortunately the game looks pretty basic, but who knows. Cool idea.

Revolution
Humans vs no power bill
Maybe Lost influenced? I don't know much, but I think the backstory behind why the power all went out 10-15 years ago is what drives this one.


Any others?
Hope these turn out good, this is far better than more singing shows. The copy-casts might not be quite the scifi I want, but it's a step in the right direction.

My predictions:

Revolution won't last more than one season.

Defiance has a decent shot at longevity since it's on cable.

I look at the commercials and think...Hunger Games, Lost, the finale of BSG, etc...
