And just to cheer people up, no patch today either...
Mods at banana forum have put out a pre emptive warning to people not to freak out (or they will be suspended) if/when the Friday update comes out with either news of further work on the patch, no work on the patch, no patch, updates on BoM, or even no Friday update at all...
Now that is expectation management!
Guaranteed the patch will come today!

Mmmm.. Not unexpected really. Still, I wouldn't like their job, that's for sure. They will get it in the head regardless, poor bleeders! I'm beginning to think that it would be easier to get my dog to play computer games than to ever expect this to survive... Bloody hell, SKIPPER!!.. (my dog is playing Call of Duty!)

Who new we'd get an overreaction to a specualtion post. It's heart-warming to see so many dedicated consumer watchdogs Chivas. Without a constant eye on the patch minutiae (which must take time away from not flying a sim) then the unwary consumer would be defenceless and vulnerable! Seeing these selfless people (heroes?) make the time for a few hundred Marvin-esque 'Oh well, it's to be expected - we're doomed!!' identical posts each and every week goes to show that community spirit and support for a niche WWII flight-sim hobby is very much alive and well. With our continued efforts hopefully we can defeat this nefarious and absolutely unusable software (with such obvious malfeasance on the part of the evil developers) and justice will be seen to prevail - I know I certainly won't be resting until the last person has stopped playing it! Victory is close, I can smell it! Edit: I can ask guod if we can set up an Extended-Philatelist forum when this one dies. There's something about those weirdos collecting stamps that makes my blood boil. Have you seen the prices of those things, the shoddy nature of the 2nd editions??! I don't know much about it, and have never bought a stamp (so busy!), but it makes me angry just to think about it. Anyone join me in the new Extended-Philatelist forum so we can get those guys, hopefully getting them to stop?
