I couldn't help but notice that one of the SS's had a flooded out town. Is that a section of the map or can you destroy a damn and flood an area? I'm guessing the former but worth asking IMO.

Will the DLC from the BIS store work with the steam version of Combined Operations? Can't find the answer to this on the inter-webs.

Here's my feedback regarding this ACR DLC:

Purchased the ACR DLC and downloaded it and so far I'm quite satisfied with this!
I haven't tried the campaign so I still can't talk about it but this is what we get with this DLC:

1- Very good range and choise of NEW weapons which includes:
- CZ 750 sniper rifle
- CZ 805 assault rifle with at least 5 diferent variants
- CZ scorpion EVO3 with at least 3 diferent variants
- UK59 General-purpose machine gun
- CZ 75 pistol with at least 4 diferent variants

2- Excelent range of new vehicles which includes:
- L-159 ALCA close air support aircraft which based on the L-39 but with more advanced weaponry (Maverick and Sidewinder missiles), new "glass cockpit" and countermeasures (modified model).
- L-39 retextured with Czech painting
- Mi-24V retextured with Czech painting and armed with 8 ATAKA missiles and 2 rocket pods
- BRDM-2 and BMP-2 retextured with Czech painting
- Dingo 2 armored vehicle with 2 diferent variants (completly new model)
- Pandur II 8x8 (completly new model)
- Improved T-72M4 tanks with termal optics for the commander and improved armour (modified model)
- T810 truck with 3 "transport" variants plus 3 "support" variants (refuel, rearm, repair) - completly new model
- RM70 MLRS (completly new model)
- Military Offroad (Land Rover) Ambulance (modified model).
- BVP-1 (Czech made BMP-1) for the Takistan Army faction (completly new model).
- RBS 70 fixed MANPADS emplacement. Not only this a completly new model but it's also a SACLOS SAM system (like the real one) which if I'm not mistaken it's a novelty regarding ArmA2 units (at least within ArmA2 Stock/vanilla units).

3- Two (2) new maps:
- Bystrica (a map with a 4kmx4km aprox. size)
- Bukovina (a map with a 8kmx8km aprox. size)

4- One (1) single player campaign


For what I see in this list that I compiled, this DLC seems much more complete (and better) than the BAF DLC (which IMO was good) and much SUPERIOR to the PMC DLC (with IMO was a crap/disapointment)! For example with this ACR DLC you get a much more "complete pack" which includes support vehicles (refuel, rearm, repair and ambulance), fixed wing aircraft and a MBT (Main Battle Tank) a thing that IMO was and is still is missing in the BAF DLC.


What I didn't like/could be better in this DLC is the following:
- The campaign should be Co-Op playable (still don't get why BIS and many other campaign designers choose to do this)!
- The maps are too small with the smallest only compromising a large airbase with no other settlements/towns whatsovever and the biggest one while having a nice looking river only one river bank (the larger/northern one) is populated and there is only 2 settlements/towns in the northern bank of the river with absolutelly NO airbases or airfields present. Also there aren't any bridges crossing the river (afterall there's one rail bridge over the river but it leads to nowhere!). IMO, mission possibilities for these 2 maps are IMO quite limited.

I have only fired the DLC up for a short while yesterday and started the campaign (I’m still in the first mission). My first impression is very positive. The new models look fantastic. I really like the Czech camouflage. The sound is great! The map the campaign starts with is rather small but very beautiful.

So far, I really like the DLC.

lol.. no, it's just a small part of Chenarus done in summer foliage.
I'm enjoying the campaign, but it's devoid of ambient life anywhere on the map so far.
It's just ghostly silent villages, no people, no animals, just the occasional bad guy at certain locations.
I still have my problem of game freezes though, sometimes I can play for 30 mins, sometimes 5 or 10 mins, but I still get a freeze followed by a drop back to desktop, then I can't return to the game, even though I can still hear the game continuing as normal.. frustrating!

Why do I feel like my questions are always ignored on this forum? Is there some kind of a "good 'ole boys" blacklist here?

Not sure about that one Grunt.. isn't there a 'steam only' DL available yet? I thought I had seen it on the official site.

No, not ignoring at least on my part. I just don't have the Steam version (I don't like Steam and I don't use it) and I never bought any game thru Steam so I just can't answer your question.
