Like the title says, I'm having problems updating World to 1.1.2.1. It tells me that I need to install DSC World 1.1.2.0, which it is installed, but on my D drive insead of the C drive. But the patch will not let me show where it is installed at. Any ideas?

Just to add to the good info kramer gives above, DCS World 1.2 is not a patch. It's a full version and is intended to replace any previous versions of DCS World.

1.1.2.0/1.1.2.1 is the beta version of DCS World. are you sure that is what you want to use?


if you don't already know, DCS World 1.2.0.63205 is the release version. newer than the beta.

I am having trouble with the A-10C module for DCS world. I have purchased A-10C 1.2.0.xxx 2 days back from the site and have installed it together with DCS World. THe Installation and activation is OK.

I run the mgame and start an Instant mission only to crash when it reaches 50 percent in the loading screen.

Will the Patch help me fix the problem.

the 1.1.2.1 patch that firbal is referring to is for the obsolete beta version of DCS World. do not try to install it!

the version of A-10c that you purchased, a few days ago, is the latest version of that software.

there are a number of things that could be causing your crash.

Ok, if that is for a beta version, not sure if I saw in the write up that it was for a beta. I figured that since World is 1.1.20, that the patch 1.1.2.1 would be for the full verion, not the earlier beta.

That's because you're reading the numbers wrong.

World is 1.2.0, which is greater than 1.1.2

Just un-install everything,

I've got 1.2.0 and the relevant modules, but this little statement:



leads me to believe that it is not the final article and therefore who knows if they are going to release a patch/update or if we are going to have to download another 5GB worth like we did between 1121 and 120? (thanks for that, btw - does wonders for me - took pretty much a whole day).

I'm still using 1.1.2.1 - I'll wait until 'all features are included' before I replace the set-up I already have.

Yes - I'm in a "DCS sux" mood at the moment, having spent all afternoon inputting MFD assignments for all the individual aircraft in FC2 (thanx for not giving us a one for all option like RoF managed to do) and it all went down the swanny for some unknown reason when I clicked 'OK' and it crashed. They might write some nice planes and scenery, but they couldn't organise a happy hour in a brewery.

Your right, I went back and looked at the verion numbers. The 2's were throwing me off.
