Just got lone wolf missoin with my Esc 12 (Nieuport 11) campaing and got error when trying to load CF3 and fly it and kicked back to OFF UI. Forgot to make note what error it is. Just curious if its known issue or just me. Reinstaling OFF + Hat In The ring again now.

No need to do a complete reinstall usually.
Just use "Reset OFF Manager" first.
If that won't help, do also "Reset CFS3" in "Workshops".

That resets files, which can get corrupted.

A full deinstall and reinstall was never necessary for me.

When the video settings of OFF, are set to the FAQ at www.overflandersfields.com You will get the best possible picture. BUT . . OFF is very demanding, your other games if there are any will run like garbage

So many folks will make a comprimise, in any case you looking for the highest Frames Per Second ( Z ) possible

So now you have the highest FPS You're gonna see { that's stock, before you start screwing around with the files)

Now Remember that number, after you're done screwing around . . . making your own MOD, that number should be the same

The developers gave us a totally functional sim, on which they did extensive testing, all that testing goes out the window, we you start screwing around with the files

YOU are doing the testing

PS . . The RESET buttons can save lots of work, however you WILL lose your pilots every time

Huh? i dont get your post Uncleal. Maybe my english is not good and i missing hidden point in your lines. I didnt made any modifications. I got that problem with lone wolf mission on clean install. What video settings have to do with my problem?

Also everytime i reinstall my first run always fail, i hit Fly and CFS loading and quits back to OFF UI. Subsequent runs "somewhat" magicaly fix that and i am able to get into 3d sim, just scratching my head.

Your problem doesn't sound "normal" to me.
Make sure to install your sim (incl. all patching in the correct order) by the book;
or better: by the OFF Website (FAQ). I guess that's what UncleAl meant to say.

Heh ok. Sure i read FAQ. Actualy i read it upside down during waiting for DVD arrive by post as i was so excited. Thay way i imedietly know what to do to invert my foot pedals. Well i have UBI DVD CFS3, so easiest way to install. Isntall OFF, superpatch, minipatch, HITR and last HITR patch. Then i run OFF and go to workshop where i set CFS3 gfx and sliders. I set all my desired workshop settings and go to quick flight where i hit fly and see CFS3 slash screen comming and load screen about WW1 world initializing then it suddendly kicks me back to OFF UI without any error. I need kill "stuck" CFS3 process and reload OFF anf then it starts to work. Very strange. About Lone Wolf, i was so excited when i got that mission to be bit frustrated with that error that renders lone wolf non enterable for me. Well i am on clean install again now so lets see when i get lone wolf again.

BTW: will be WOFF UI coded with invariant globalization? As czech with czech locale set in m english windows 7 htere is problem with decimal separator. We use , instead . Its bit unconfortable to set it globlaly to . in locale settings. Dunno if OFF 3 UI is coded in VB6 as first OFF i remeber but .net VB.NET or C# functions can use invariant (english) culture or even you can set that invariant culture for whole current thread (thats how i do in my one project). Just currious if this will be looked into in WOFF version.

Yes i talked about Blue Max mod. I didnt even started on it so as i said it was clean install. I am not that "dumb" to ask question like this when i modded my game and first i will revert to clean install and retest again.

Do not hit CFS3 QC . . . Go to Main Menu. . Pilot Dossier . . . Enlist a Pilot ... Main memu . . . Campaign
