How does that make them the "Canada" of Scandinavia? I'm confused lol. Most countries have diverse music, UK/US, most Western places you care to mention, and elsewhere?
'Röyksopp' should be in that list though IMO, they do some great remixes for other bands as well.

Its just that I think a lot of good (imo) music comes from Canada; Rush, Saga, Klaatu. And of course you're right. Lots of countries produce great artists.
Aye, agree the Canucks have had some great artists. Faves are probably Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and "laughing Leonard" Cohen (great lyricist). I quite like "The Arcade Fire" too, some good songs. Rush have never really done it for me for some reason, but I respect their musicianship, definitely very talented and I know they are well loved.
Celine Dion hurts my ears however, and my Soul. And Avril lavigne. And that bird who sung the "Isn't it Ironic" song (can't remember her name lol). The thing that annoys me is that she clearly doesn't even know the meaning of the word "Ironic".

NOT ironic, in any way, shape or form.....as well as almost everything else she mentions in the song.

However, he was Un-ban-hammered from the UK about 5 years ago lol, saw him on the Graham Norton show a while back.
