There is a "TargEditTM2_2012SV6R.exe" in each of your folders.
It allows freehand railway line drawing with the right mouse button down in both the world page and the railways page pictures.

A little "OK" button appears at the end of the black line:

If you are not happy with it as soon as you start to draw a new line the old one disappears:

If you click the "OK" button the line is drawn, but it is faint in this screenie:

The same thing for the Railways page:

Other goodies:
If you right click in the data grid "XF" column which is coloured it will find the start and end of a line and put the values in the "Start" and "End" boxes. This will allow you to duplicate that line, or delete that line.
Here I loaded the default 11.2 EAW_RRD.DAT

I right clicked on one of those yellow cells in the grid:

You can see the 149 and 203 in the "Start" and "End" boxes.

John. I have found the cause of the node problem you alerted me to, and fixed it smile

Tony, that looks good mate.

Sorry for being a pest, but how can I view the tracks so I can put two or more different rail lines into the station?

I'd like to have two double track lines starting from a terminus, but to lay the tracks very exactly. you need to see each line. wink

Once I have a basic setup. I'll need a walk through on haw to add Tmods exactly, like Pobs can. smile

It may seem crazy but there are some things that the editor can do which I have forgotten how to do.
There is a way to join lines with a common node. It would be easy to make a short straight track coming from a station, and then use the parallel maker to make it double. Then other tracks can be joined to the two ends.
I'll investigate- maybe Pobs can tell us smile

Hi Tony.

Although I can draw railways roughly in freehand mode, I can't seem to move any nodes by Right clicking, and dragging. confused

You have to be in Node Move Mode, and then LEFT click and drag smile
I have thought of some simpler ways to join lines. That section of the code needs fixing anyway because these recent versions show the coordinates as numbers. The earlier one converted them to hexadecimal values, and the join routines are written for those.

Hi Tony.

Left click seems to do nothing in Node Move mode. frown

The selected area should be small enough to have the nodes well separated.
Here I have positioned the mouse cursor in the first node from the terminus node.
It is used by lines 96 and 97 in the table.

As these two numbers are different I can click and drag it:

There it is, in a new place.

Hi Tony.

I found out what I was doing wrong, but then I hit another one of your annoying RunTime errors!

ar15 attack

Can you please fix these RunTime errors, so they don't CTD?
