Hi all,

I've been a lurker in forum for awhile now, but I've decided to come on and introduce myself, WITH, a question. woot

Anyone know where to shut off the MFDs in the cockpit? Cause I have transferred the MFDs info to my iPad via iDCS program. And I could not find any posting about it. If there is I apologized for repeating the topic.

Thank you
Kong

PS. This game is addictive...figuring how it works from start-up...reading the manual...training sessions...finding your own way of starting the Hog whenpigsfly without botching it. Frustrating but VERY satisfying when you hear the engine winding up.

HI yeah, I do.
There's a .lua file in which change a line. Gimme 15 minutes and I'll post here my findings. thumbsup

Took me a few minutes, but it's completely different in the 1.1.1.0 patch.
File that needs editing now is <your DCS folder>\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\Viewport Handling.lua

On line 31 comment out "render_purpose.GENERAL"
So the complete line looks like this:

purposes = {--render_purpose.GENERAL,

Works for me. MFD's are not rendered in pit anymore, but are on the external displays.
All other displays (CDU, CMS, RWR,...) stay in pit.
