In SHIII there are recovery of systems applied over minutes without cheats.

I think the cheating Ssnake spoke of, was what the mainenance guys ususally do a weapons display shows.
IOT replace the Leo2 engine withing 10-15 mikes, they have opened all valves, clutches and stuff before the roll the tank in.
This way tank in engine out=3 mike, when under rel conditions they'd need the most part of an hour to prepare the engine befor pulling it.

Getting the new engine in and the tank rolling, is indeed a job off ten-mike or less.
(I'm speaking of the Leopard2 here)

What Ronin wrote, didn't intend to twist your words. The "cheat" I mentioned was based on what's usually shown at public demonstrations how quickly the tank can be made to move again after the arrival of a recovery vehicle (with a new powerpack already loaded on its back). This always times to about 15 minutes to show how awesome the Leo 2 is (and in a way, it IS awesome ... just not THAT miraculous, which it why I'm calling it a cheat).

I guess we COULD eventually create a schematic to let the user select which element should be repaired first, but I must confess that this isn't the focus of our attention right now and for the next ten months. Later maybe, depending on what other "emergencies" might materialize (or not). The coming release of SB Pro PE should be pretty awesome in comparison to previous upgrades (provided that everything works out as intended; so far we seem to be roughly on track (except for that summer upgrade that turned out to be unfeasible due to some changes in the work plan that we couldn't avoid).

Wow, wow, wow!...The twisted analogy was not about what Ronin wrote but about what Ssnake wrote about missions that lasted weeks or Month in SHIII. Besides my comments were anterior to the Ronin Post.

Alles klare?

That is interesting. So, when the incoming release is expected?...

One might think so. Some game companies in the past had other ideas.

CV9040B - I can load four types of ammo: APFSDS, HE, PFPPX and PFHE. However fire control system of CV9040B cannot handle PPFHX and PPFH rounds. So it is some bug which allows loading them?

CV9040C - I can correctly load all four types of rounds but what is their right proportion?

In short can you tell me how many rounds of each type is typically loaded into CV9040B and CV9040C vehicles of the Swedish Armed Forces?

The 3P round can be loaded into any Bofors L/70... but without the correct fuse setter and FCS it is only proxy fused and impact. IRL you'd only do that if you didn't have a choice, as 3P is significantly more expensive than 'Normal' HE or Proxy HE.

I did think the CV9040B could use the PFHE round though ~ defaulting to AM impact mode for ground targets and NZ proxy mode for air targets. The absence of the fusing system on the real-world CV9040B prevents setting 3P to TM, TMS (timed, time spread), ZT or ZTB (gated proxy, gated proxy delay) as if the FCS and fuse setter of the CV9040C had malfunctioned ~ but it should also (IMO) prevent setting CM mode (delayed impact).

At a glance the types of ammunition available look reasonable ~ though I might question the very high proportion of APFSDS in the CV9040B loadout. Each Fack can only hold 8 rounds 'ready' though... and the reserve boxes are interchangeable...

As far as the proportion of APFSDS rounds are concerned, that falls entirely into the mission designer's responsibility. The default numbers are those requested by the customer who tasked us with the CV90 integration.
