Just installed the 1.62 patch, and I noticed that there are some new options in the video section like e.g PPAA settings! Does anyone know what this is and how will this effect the performance? as I'm too scared to touch my settings which are running quite smooth as they are.

Just wished they would have added the no-blur option.

ya, but then I went to try and find servers... that dumb ass (IMO) zombie mod has ruined this game, lol... well at least the player base...

Yeap Magnum, I found exactly the same thing! If previously I didn't like the Zombie mod (DayZ) currently I'm starting to HATE it!

Really, BIS should implement a filter that allows the player to remove (or not show) DayZ servers. It's really frustrating to search for a 'decent' server (with this I mean Non-DayZ or 'vanilla' server) only to find out DayZ servers!! attack

Hey guys, to help get past all the DayZ servers, sort the server browser by "mission". This tends to separate the DayZ from ArmA.

The latest beta filters out DayZ servers if you aren't running the DayZ mod folders.

That's a good idea, thanks!

Just tested the beta patch and I must say that it doesn't work! My server list is still infested with DayZ servers frown

With 1.62 I'm seeing better than ever performance during my first few tests. It's like running with shadows and FXAA are free now, even in dense forests and near water.

download sixlauncher.. I believe it will let you sort servers by mod.

I've noticed the same thing as well. I ran the benchmarks with FXAA on "normal" and I'm getting higher fps values than I did previous to 1.62.

Haven't they added ATOC to the graphic options? They said they would.

JonnyD, I remember reading at the BIS forums that if a player had been using those "injector" files for the SMAA type things, they were certain to crash. You might check into that, if it might apply.
