Just had this pop-up from Aeyes' site

Never had that before.

Had the same message but my virus/malware detection software had no issues.

Why would you need a new cockpit anyway? What's wrong with the current one?

Try http://www.cockpits.nl/ instead of .net

When you chose a cockpit to look at it changes to .net

Knowing the feelings that this release has evoked from certain quarters (and previously expressed on this forum by those who were opposed to it), I would take that warning with just a little scepticism tbh.

Probably, if you are worried, best drop Aeyes a mail or ask in his forum - he's always quick to respond.

Not decided on it myself, as yet, as I didn't see that big an improvement. A nice video would help make up my mind, though (hint...)

PS - I've just been for a look around and didn't get that warning.

I bought it and can see the difference. There are subtle changes, but they add up to a significant improvement IMO. I was comparing it with the tiny cockpit update that was done by someone (can't remember name). It's just nicer. Not the magnitude going from stock AF to his pits, but significant enough to me.

YMMV

The downside of that is the heat coming from the BMS devs themselves. Unless Aeyes gives out his work for free, there is always a risk of one update rendering his work incompatible with BMS.

Yeah it goes against BMS philosophy to charge for their work. Now it's up to Aeyes to see what he does if the BMS team renders his cockpit invalid after an update.

IMO the default cockpit is already stunning so any new one had better be DCS quality at least.
