I like to fly using the enemy plane label markers. Question: is there some .ini file somewhere where I can go in with Notepad and edit these labels to remove the plane names? All I really want to see are the distance markers for now, although I might want to try removing those, too, and having the planes marked simply by a small dot (*). I was able to do this in LO:MAC and found it to be a nice compromise between having my labels (to help my tired old eyes with spotting things lol) and not totally killing the immersion caused by all of these plane names flying all over the sky--particularly during furballs.

Hi Dumbo,

No, there's no way (that I'm aware of) for a user to do what you are requesting.

You can almost do it (I think) in the mission editor by changing the name (to blank spaces) in the aircraft entity's properites.
But that will only change the name at specific (150 meters or closer) ranges.

...so I don't think you can completely do what you are looking to do.
