technically the physical bezel is only 1.1mm, the image bezel on the other hand is another 10mm added to the physical bezel

Yeah, what use is a small physical bezel if there is an image bezel that negates that anyway? Might as well put in a 9mm bezel on that!

Can't see the vid (YouTube blocked at work) but I gather from your comments that the image does not cover the entire screen to the physical bezel!?! Seriously disappointed if that is actually the case...

Can't see the vid (YouTube blocked at work) but I gather from your comments that the image does not cover the entire screen to the physical bezel!?! Seriously disappointed if that is actually the case... Here's a picture from Overclock.net, showing the visual bezel. They can hide behind the bezel outside the glass being 1.2mm, but that image they have in their newsroom (in opening post) and on the box it ships in? A blatant lie. Around 11mm bezel, 27" IPS for a budget price is still nice, but there's the bad taste left behind every time you'd look at it. Also, it doesn't appear to have vesa mount, so not a candidate for a triple screen stand.

... maybe marketing screwed up. Good observation. Wonder if they'll clear it up. Anyhow, you've given them a good excuse to use.

Well, the 11mm is my number. The unboxing talks about 10mm, so that might not be a path they can take.

the video showed it was about 11mm. OK, checked the clip again, you're right. It's said and shown to be about 11mm. LG newsroom does run the 1.2mm number and has altered the pictures of the monitors to make you believe the display gives you an edge-to-edge image. Damning evidence, if used in a courtroom, I'd say.
