Yes there is some interesting stuff out there. (especially at the moment)

Most interesting Dgen development (IMO) is by Assura. He got the Dgen code from Starshoy and is rewriting it.
There is already a Solomans Dgen campaign available if you look through his development thread.
You can find that thread on the il2 SAS (do a websearch) site under missions.

Also many people have made expanded/custom Dgen campaigns and you can find most of them at Mission4Today il2 website.

There are a series of mammoth Dgen (stock & also for mods) compilations also by enjoyr.
(you have to search for those also at Mission4Today I think, but he has done a huge job of adding all of the user and add on Dgen campaigns together in various permutation.) These are good if you want eveything and anything ever made...

HSFX does not add new campaigns to stock ones. It provides, so to speak, "materiel" to build them: planes and maps. You need to download new campaigns from sites like M4T and A&A. You have two choices: one is to download campaigns for stock game (perfectly compatible with HSFX), enjoying HSFX sounds, 3D models, etc. Second is to download campaigns specific for HSFX (like static ones including new maps and planes) and for Asura's DGen_MOD which allows same goods in dynamic campaigns.

I hope to have been clear enough,
GB

The best thing about HSFX is that it is, and unless something changes, will always be, compatible with whatever incarnation of the stock sim is going give or take a few weeks. This means that you can run stock campaigns or what have you .. with HSFX....

Not to hijack this thread but I really don't think my question needs a new thread.

Downloaded HSFX6 via torrent comes as a self install thingy, point it to my folder of 1946 and it runs to about half way and then asks for me to " place installation disk 2 into the floppy drive and press the OK button."

Have installed JSGME before the extraction of HSFX. Have a screen shot of the issue. But obviously don't know how to get it to show.

TSmoke; The best place to ask this question is at the 242 Squadron website-just google it.

I read this exact question a week or two ago on some other forum - you need to extract the downloaded archives, iirc, as per the instructions on the HSFX6 download links page wink

otherwise it can't find the file it's looking for and hence asks for the disc.
