It saddens me that you guys (on the whole) don't seem into this game.. I guess its because of the sci fi setting but i fancy it will be as tactical as any game you care to mention given the scale and the fact that it is all territory based.

I'm into it but heard nothing about being in the beta. I played the first one on a trial but would not pay to play, is this one F2P or are they going to charge again?

Unless anyone has a spare beta key?

F2P principally with only visual elements and non power items available in micro transactions.

I did love the massive worlds even if I didn't know what was going on half the time

Everything i have seen of it so far looks like it should satisfy even the most cynical of gamers in terms of available tactics, weaponry and classes.. I just hope it isn't a case of walking the walk but not talking the talk..

It just disappoints me because it looks to have proper squad play that theoretically every land warrior here should love.. But because it is sci fi it just doesn't get the kudos i believe it should here.. It's paying for all wrongs done by Halo i reckon

Looking forward to trying this, I usually dislike futuristic shooters but have found the sci-fi stuff fun in the F2P Tribes Ascend, hoping this is equally good.

Funnily enough I gave Tribes Ascend a bash over the last couple of days to see if i would like it.. For some reason it reminded me of Quake 3 fortress but i don't know why. I really enjoyed it but even with my crossfired 6950's it just battered my system so i took it back off.

Would probably fit the sci fi forum better, but it does look interesting. Like a scifi Battlefield. If the pace isn't as fast and hectic as BF, it could be fun.
