How do I get from version 1.4.1C to 1.14? How many updates do I have to run?

I am also having trouble useing my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick. When I go to the cockpit, my view is straight up. When I try to view down it goes right back up again.

Any ideas?

Since I don't have EEAH, can I just skip down to step 5 and go from there?
After installing EECH, do I need to launch game, then continue with the rest of the steps.

You can get EEAH at GOG as well:

But you don't really need it. I think it just gives you the option of flying the Hind in EECH.

Just follow the steps in the link posted by Guod but start at step 5.

Again, I don't think it's necessary to run the game after installing, but I usually do (won't do any harm).

I installed EECH then went to step 5 and installed everything else. When I try to start the game I get ( This application has failed to start because OpenAL32.dll was not found. Re-install the application may fix the problem.)

What should I do?

Ah! Seems to be a step missing in those instructions (or at least I couldn't see it).

You need to download and install OpenAL from Creative Labs. You can get it here:

http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/oalinst.zip

Should work after you install that.
