I always set rudder trim to 5 degrees right and up the throttle fairly quickly (but smoothly) so that I usually take off in 3-point, i.e. no long roll-outs for me. No idea if that is realistic or best for the type (I too think the rudder propwash seems a bit light) but it works ok.

Try just 2.5 deg of trim. Seems trim is getting doubled at the moment.

Phew! Finally managing take-off and landing with a good chance of walking away rather than being carried away. (hey I only got it yesterday, so that ain't too shabby.)

Been practicing with the Take-off solo mission, doing a circuit and landing again.
Though I will try a different field from batumi as having a bunch of trees at the other end when you come in to land is a bit of a pig. Not to mention the hills and powerlines that are in the way. Tend to skim the trees but still end up bouncing as I'm too high. But she stops quick, so will try floating further down rather than pushing for the threshold.
Gave a bunch of passengers in a bus a good thrill through as I passed almost directly over them as I crossed the threshold - who thought putting a frecking bus lane right on the threshold was a good idea?
