I really like the Mustang am glad I have the A2A P-51D to make skins for , as there is nothing more depressing than to spend time making a skin that gets 20 downloads and receives no comments or any feedback .

With the A2A you can get in the same space of time 300-400 downloads ( or a couple of thousand in the case of a RCAF SAR Twin Otter I made ) and a lot of feedback . I guess that is why I spend so much more time making skins for A2A products and only make one for the DCS P-51D when I get a request.

U make some great looking skins Tom. I haven't had a chance to download any yet but I will.

Haven't had time to play either but I enjoy looking at everyone's screen shots

It would be great if we could go back a few years when what ED released was so much more popular - nowadays it is an ever shrinking public and it is not going to get better any time soon, to see the difference in popularity in two skins that I made :

Having a Klutz moment, Tom? As a matter of fact the community is growing, not shrinking, so say the sales. Forum visitation have also increased.

I'm sure that MSFS commands a wider audience to begin with; ED is only entering a market where it provides a platform to build on.

the P-51D has been less of a success than I expected it to be, that is all.

Another thought from the peanut gallery. It is quite possible that a number of newer DCS pilots are not aware of Lockon Files (or this forum) as a source for skins. There are quite a few P-51 skins avialable on EDs user files area as well. Some of the same liveries too.

I might hazard a guess that if someone were to post links to these on EDs site that an increase in downloads would result.

The speculative Navy skin is excellent, not to mention the others, btw. Thanks much for your efforts.
