New system now, and so giving CLoD another try. Much improvement is had, but as mentioned in the post title, I cannot find these basic tweaks anywhere in the stickies...

1) I can't remember how to turn off the Ubi splash screen

2) where is the folder for the file cache that needs to be cleared often? As I remember, these files do not appear to be ones you'd think need deleting, so not wanting to experiment...

3) trying to figure out how to turn off the chat and other info windows, again.

1. Rename the logo file found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\parts\core\GUI or just delete it.
2. Delete everything out of shaders from this location,C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache without deleting the folder itself.
