He is trying to get to the northeast airfield with my character and has really screwed the pooch by dropping food by picking up "tons of DMR mags but now i need water and food"...WTF I said.

Got him out of the bind and thank goodness the zeds in Khelm were dumb as a freaking rock but he took a few hits from them due to lag. He was holed up in a multistory apartment building right by the church and decided to go on a shooting spree to as he put it "up my stats in zombie kills" So I replied "SON I DON"T HAVE A PISTOL OR SD AMMO AND YOU ARE SHOOTING A DMR!". His reply "Yeah I know I got you a bunch of mags on the way up to Khelm and I know exactly where I am on the map because it has a red circle that shows me what to do. Also these guys marked the map with a bunch of camps and water holes up in the Northeast around the airfield."

Me: "OH GOD NO DO NOT GO THERE AGAIN!"
Son: "Why I can get night vision and other cool stuff up there"
Me: "You running with the SimHQ guys?
Son: "Nope I am on US 252 but it is laggy and really slow"
Me: "How did you pick that server?"
Son: "I heard you talking about US 2 something and thought that was it"

So I check server stats and there are 59/60 players on and the average ping rate for the server was about 250ms....yep it sucked. So now I am spawning in at night northeast of Khelm on a different server to try and GTFO of dodge city without getting smoked by some sniper asshat.

Isn't parenthood wonderful!!!

Yep I hate to do it to him because he wants to use my player but I am going to have to create his account for him to play on the other computer and then help him grab some gear.

Sounds like he's gonna be really familiar with the layout of cherno and elektro. Death is a good teacher :P
