hi all
Black War is a novel about Aleister Crowley's magic war during WWII against Nazis. The novel is now incomplete and I am still writing it in Italian language. This video is a also an homage to Microprose European Air War game, one of the best PC game of all time, and to EAW community.
In the clip La5 skin by captain Kurt, stuka skin by DeanH. I do not know author of winter terrain and of russian speech pack( Prune? )

hi Knegel

I know some thinghs about Crowley becouse he lived some years in my town ( Cefalù ) in 1920-1923.
I wrote another book about Crowley in Cefalù, now only in italian language, but I hope it will be an english ebook next year.
About the Crowley's role in ww2, my novel will be only fictional.
During ww2 historically Crowley wos in England but I have no more informations.

Quote:
During the Second World War, future James Bond author Ian Fleming (then a Navy intelligence officer) along with other colleagues proposed a disinformation plot in which Crowley would have helped an MI5 agent supply Nazi official Rudolf Hess with faked horoscopes. They could then pass along false information about an alleged pro-German circle in Britain. The government abandoned this plan when Hess flew to Scotland, crashing his plane on the moors near Eaglesham, and was captured.
Fleming then suggested using Crowley as an interrogator to determine the influence of astrology on other Nazi leaders, but his superiors rejected this plan. At some point, Fleming also suggested that Britain could use Enochian as a code in order to plant evidence.

The whole magical/mystical second world war is quite interesting. In Britain Dion Fortune, leader of the Society of the Inner Light (an offshoot of Crowley's original Order of the Golden Dawn) pursued a daily "struggle on the astral planes" with the Nazi enemy. There is even a persistent story that some members of an occult group in the New Forest in Hampshire offered themselves as a sacrifice in the struggle. Strange times.

Wish you the best of luck with this project Marco and I look forward to reading it.
