Cool. If only it were a new movie though! Considering the massive success of "The Avengers", Joss certainly has a lot more weight he can pull in Hollywood but I still don't think it will happen. I think for Firefly, the water passed under the bridge a long time ago.

Or they could just continue the series as if the movie never happened. Although it does not make much sense to try to resurrect firefly. If they are going to revisit it they should make a new series based in the same universe. They could bring in the old actors or start fresh and throw in some cameos. It would be hard to bring back the whole cast anyways (even if you could script it successfully) as most have moved on to other things.

Firefly was a great show and I love the characters but sometimes you simply have to realize that that time has passed and it's time to move on. When it was announced that Battlestar Galactica was going to end after season 4 it really hit me hard but later on I realized that the show was already naturally heading towards and end game and to artifically extend it just to please fans wouldn't be right course of action.

The reunion is bound to be a hoot judging by their Comicon panel performances. Shame if Jewel isn't there though, she's my fave.
