I click on the CA logo at the bottom of the DCS World main screen and it just gives text about it. Looked at missions and I can only fly the aircraft, how do I use the CA content?

Manual is in the start menu or \\Mods\tech\CombinedArms\Doc\Combined Arms Manual EN.pdf
Missions are in the CA Missions menu or \\Mods\tech\CombinedArms\Missions\EN\Single

I found the manual but not all works as in the manual. I cannot assign waypoints to my units, if I click a unit I get a box at the bottom left of my screen telling me what it is but nothing happens when I click the little arrow next to it, no second box with the waypoint etc. tools appears so i cannot give them orders.

I can take control of units in first person view but the game is paused when I first go in but there isn't a box telling me this, I pressed PAUSE/BREAK and it jumped into life.

Also when you load up a mission there is a box asking what you want to control and you can't select anything. I have to ALT-TAB out and back in to get it to do anything.

Is this normal for the Beta?

Yeah I mean I can see how it's confusing for people. It's not so much a "stand-alone" module as it is just a huge improvement to the battlefield and world of DCS.

Solved the waypoint problem, if I don't ALT-TAB and press ESC instead and then ALT-TAB it throws up all the problems I mentioned. But ALT-TABbing straight away solves this but the ALT-TAB bug is still there....

This is gonna get a bit messy answering in quote messages so I'll number the answers

1 - Read the manual about the battlefield commander roles in CA
2 - JTAC view? Have you installed CA 1.2.0 in DCS:-World 1.2.0? EDIT:- I see it is still called JTAC View in this version. Could you post that mission casuing this?

Fantastic - at least we know the root of the problems now. I've already raised the Alt-TAB issue internally.
