New versión: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=90967DCS: A-10C Warthog, Patch 1.2.0 Available
This new patch to the A-10C Warthog addresses the following items:
List of changes: Fixed ground shadow z-fighting when viewed from within the cockpit. JTAC's IR pointer missing the target has been fixed. Fixed constantly repeated radio reports from wingmen, particularly after leader landing. Fixed A-10C flight A-10C takeoff from runway. Wingmen would suddenly "freeze" between air and ground. Some buttons became non-clickable when view is zoomed. Fixed. JTACs sorted by range in radio menu. IFFCC Weapon Release Data Menus will now work correctly for all kinds of weapons. SPI position on TAD will be shown correctly for ripple releases when SPI source is IFFCC. Fixed CCRP behavior when the aircraft flies below entered hot elevation, and SPI elevation remains below ownship altitude. CCIP CR symbology logic adjusted for ownship altitude is less than entered hot elevation. INVALID FUZING HUD message will now account for WCMD height of function parameter. Reduced the probability of WCMD weapons overshooting the target when using low altitude deliveries. Fixed rocket sight occasionally appearing instead of the bombing reticle when Mk82AIR bomb was selected. WINDSHIELD HOT and STALL SYS caution lights have been implemented. AoA indexer lights will now work with weight on wheels. AoA indicator electrical power source was changed to Right AC bus. FFB stick shaker now works only if the AoA indicator is powered. FFB stick shaker will now not only work with gear up and flaps set to landing position (20 degrees). Aural stall warning (steady and chopped tones) will no longer work with flaps set to landing position (20 degrees). Flap position indicator will be frozen in the last known position upon electrical power loss. Master Caution light will no longer light when the inverter is initially turned on. The Master Caution light and caution lights flashing rate has been adjusted. L/R Engine Oil Pressure lights will go light immediately after any electrical power source is available. All possible avionics failures are correctly repaired now - no more inoperative air data related instruments after repair. Autolase was sometimes not correctly ceasing at impact time + 4 seconds timeout. DSMS correctly updates station status (i.e. detected, not detected, and any mismatches) upon weapon loadout change via the rearm radio menu. But you still must initialize DSMS manually via the DTS UPLOAD page. TGP laser codes are no longer zeroized when the TGP is loaded on a station via the rearm radio menu. Fixed Maverick TIME auto power function. TGP laser type can no longer be cycled with HOTAS while TGP is lasing. DSMS STAT and DSMS INVT CMBT notes have been implemented on the MFCD. Removed re initialization when autopilot on. Fixed UHF T-Tone switch causing unrecoverable crash. Possible crash on CBU-97/105 container opening in full screen mode is fixed. Corrected snap views. LSS Detects and tracks targets that are not lased. Fixed. When A-10C is repaired, "Repair Finished" message is now given. Marker beacon sounds outside main beam has been resolved. Cockpit mirrors not visible when selected in options has been fixed. SAS yaw mono channel mode restored.

Good fixes, not sure what "Fixed CCRP behavior when the aircraft flies below entered hot elevation, and SPI elevation remains below ownship altitude." means. Mostly my confusion about what hot elevation has to do with CCRP, but maybe there was a link that shouldn't have been.
Still looking forward to CCRP rockets (both impact and flare types) being implemented. Also I really, really, really hope that extra triangle on the ADI at the 9 'o clock position has been removed. It's been several patches since that was errantly added.

Sorry if this question has been answered else where, either here on DCS
The 1.20 patch for A10C, can that be applied to the standalone version that I have installed? Looking at the DCS website, the patch link takes me to a purchase page for A10C 1.20.
Do I have to re-buy A10C 1.20, install DCS World then install 1.20? Or, do I install DCS world and install my standalone into DCS World?
Thanks for any clarification. BTW, DCS should release some sort of FAQ or install guide for ppl with stanalone installs of Black Shark 1&2 as well as A10C
Don

Standalone purchases of A-10C become tickets to the A-10C module of DCS World. You do not have to re-buy.
1.20 is not a patch for A-10C and there never will be any more patches for it. Your standalone A-10C is done, dead end, old, no more anything. It is best that you uninstall A-10C soon so you forget about it. Think World + Modules.
Current release is a patch for the A-10C module of DCS World. The most modern is to have latest DCS World and A-10C module.
Checklist: 1. Get World 1.20 2. Get module for World

Your serial key for the stand alone A-10C carries over to the A-10C module for DCS World. You don't even need to deactivate the product, just install World, A-10C module, and continue on like nothing changed. You will need to download the A-10C module though, the stand alone will not carry over on it's own.

Over at the DCS forums there are reports of some getting up to 40% increase in FPS with the latest world. I haven't tried it out yet (downloading now)

Should I uninstall A10C from my hard drive before installing DCS World and the A10c module? I don't want to have it on there twice.

If you want. It makes no difference to DCS;-World.

I'm curious about that too. So if I install DCS World, will it find my current install of A10C?

No your old install is obsolete. Install DCS:-World and the A-10 module for World - ignore/delete v1.1.1.1. There is no need to activate/deactivate either, it will see the current Key for A-10 in windows registry.

I'm thinking about getting this on the Steam sale. Quick question... Once the module is installed with DCS World, does it keep all the missions? I was under the impression World was empty of units and missions. Would I want to install both stand alone and World, or go straight to World only?

All of the A-10C missions that are included with A-10C standalone are installed into World when you install the A-10C. There are also plenty of A-10 mission already made by users which should also work in World without issue.

Also the DCS:-World, without any modules, contains a free Su-25T Attack Aircraft.

I haven't had any problems with previous A-10C missions in World. Perhaps there will be some incompatibility, but I can see the community from here on in developing for World.
