However, in this case, I think it is a good thing. There were a few parts I liked on the 1995 version, but NOT Rob Schneider and Armand Assante's characters. And Stallone TOOK THE FRIGGIN' HELMET OFF!!

I think Karl Urban will make a good Judge Dredd, I just don't see it being a good movie. It's a shame because 200AD had some fantastic story lines that are just dying to be made into a film.
Bring on a Strontium Dog movie I say!

I think a lot of it will depend on what kind of tone they decide to give the film. Will it be dark and serious or will it be more of a typical action shoot em' up filled with comedic one liners like so many of Arnold Schwarzenegger's past films?

I just wish they would stop with the 3D BS. 3D adds nothing to the quality of a movie but a lot more cost. I don't ever go to see these things in 3D anymore.
