No it does not need to run on drive "C", I run mine on Drive "E" and have NEVER had any problems.

Still running Phase II, I should think you would've progressed by now

I do run OFF P3, but your statement was that OFF had to go on drive "C" and you never differenciated between which OFF.

I not only have OFF on my "E" drive on my game PC, I have it on my "D" drive on my laptop with no problems either. So oviously OFF does not need to be only on the "C" drive to play correctly as you stated above.

Your answer was like "All Fords are Black". Yes, that is the correct answer when Henry Ford made Model T's, but that is not true today. If you are going to make a broad statement that "Since Day One OFF HAD to go on "C", you need to clarifiy it, or it's an incorrect statement.

Not when you're responding to a question about Phase II

Check how deep the water is, before diving in

Actually this forum should be for Phase 3 only, will have to change that.

Anyway for that old version we cannot offer support, it was not designed to run on Vista but in the very forum at CA you posted this in too, there is a sticky post read through that Gary.

Follow this, http://combatace.com/topic/37679-how-to-setup-off-phase-2-only/

Read through that carefully.

If you mean you just copied OFF to another drive/folder and it doesn't run - it won't work like that anyway. It would need properly uninstalling then reinstalling. ye Olde Phase 2 probably more so.

Thank you for your kind words Polovski and your straight forward answer
I had hoped that I would be able to run two versions of off on individual drives but I was obviously wrong
and I am still only a learner compared to your more experienced colleagues we all have to learn from somewhere

Many thanks again for a straight forward answer.
