Ok, technically not F1, but you get the idea. Has anyone tried it yet?

yes... and it's bloody hard lol.... The Mercedes and Auto Union cars are near impossible to keep in a straight line... It's pretty well put together, but the driving element is exactly fun... Might try them around Avus or a easy track next time out in them..

Imo it is effing brilliant, just as long as you make sure that you have ReelFeel installed and enabled. With ReelFell the cars feel very realistic, and it is possible to keep them on a straight line. Without ReefFeel you'll be very underwhelmed.

The Autounion really handles like a rear-wheel, rear-engined car, the Merc, like the Autounion has way too much power for the skinny tires so being very careful with the thottle is key. Even getting off the line, you have to take care not to blow the engine.

The Alfa is delightful and a joy to throw around the corners, really working the wheel to maintain a drift, the ERA and Maserati Voiturettes are the easiest to handle due to their relatively low power.

Sounds are fantastic and graphics are great, considering rFactor's age.

The Team Vintage guys really nailed it, and I think of this mod as the "Grand Prix Legends of ´37" as it gives me the same wonderful buzz as the original GPL.

Highly recommended because it gives you cars that are driven on the limit in graceful utilization of the laws of physics, rather than relying on devices that suck the car to the ground.

There are some nice tracks for rF too that suit the mod: Goodwood, Crystal Palace, Nordschleife 70, Montjuich, Spa, Targa, to name just a few.
