I've just moved house so am slowly sorting stuff out and had just attached my Razer Nostromo and installed the drivers and played GRFS only to find I have Xbox button prompts in the menus. Started up MP and then SP and I can move with the keyboard and Nostromo but the mouse won't work!

Quit, unplugged Nostromo, launched GRFS same thing.

Quit, un-installed Nostromo drivers, launched GRFS and all fine again!

This needs fixing as I haven't attached any of my flight simming stuff and can't until this is sorted as I am certainly not going to un-install/re-install drivers for 4 peripherals everytime I want to/don't want to play GRFS!!

Something has gone awry with the controllers big time!

Sure did, but I don't consider a 360-type controller flight sim stuff. I normally have my Razer Onza plugged up, but it's interfered with games I wasn't using it with before and had to be unplugged. IIRC I might have had that issue with my MS 360 wireless receiver too, but mainly with the wired controller.

I don't own a console controller. I had the Razer Nostromo plugged in. It's a gaming keypad. And I haven't attached any flight sim stuff yet.

I have had problems with Dead Space 1 and 2 before but just unplugging things sorts it, with GRFS needs drivers uninstalling!! Not good.

Almost all of these console ports have issues with controllers on the PC. They're built with a 360 controller in mind. BF3 is a solid-gold pain in the rear to try to program a HOTAS.

I gave up trying to use a HOTAS with BF games long ago. BF3 is still the same so can never use the helos or jets frown
