I am unable to update, despite the 777 update server being offered and selected

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What error messages do you get?

Also, how reliable is your internet connection?

And lastly, have you done a Recovery on the Rise of Flight installation?

Yessir ArgonV. Error message is as pasted here; Failed to perform update, see update.log for details

Internet connection should be okay, during the day, under cloudy conditions, if my dog has been fed.

And though I do not know exactly what it means, only that it might be helpful, I did attempt a recovery, resulting in the same error message.

I'm worried bottom line will be a reinstall and another download. Of course I'll have to feed my dog if that's the case.

I had a quick look for the udate log for details but have not found yet, but continue to look

Delete the log in \Rise of Flight\data\update.log and try updating again.

If it gives you the same message, then check the log in that same location I listed above and paste the contents here. Honestly, it sounds like a connection problem related to a firewall or router setting.

Our internet connection is inconsistant,it's 4G wireless, so perhaps during an attempt to update a poor connection has fouled up my files.

Had the same problem. Found this in another forum and it worked for me .

e.g. C:\Rise of Flight "

bisher, it maybe that your dog is incompatible with this latest version of ROF. Have you tried updating your dog?

I'll get me coat ......

bloody dog!! And he just cost me $122 in vet bills.......

Was having the same problems as you guys updating my rise of flight game.
Moving the file out of the program files directory fixed my Update problem , thanks john_688.
