I'm sort of with GrayGhost: I don't agree that a TK should immediately result in a ban. Accidents can happen. It's the repeat offenders that should be banned and they're pretty hard to point out until they've made repeat offenses, by definition.

That said said, while TKing by accident or an isolated demonstration of stupidity is tolerable (although it should be made clear it's still not welcome!), if said accidents or stupidity demonstrations become frequent enough to affect gameplay on the server, I think a temporary ban would be more than reasonable to give the offender time for their bad luck streak to pass or to brush up on their flying and risk-assessment skills.

Yeah I get it. Keep in mind- people get kicked for tk for 5 minutes... Not banned. You get banned after you get kicked 3 times... And that's only in 1 mission (it doesn't track tks- though it can).

I still think its stupid- but I was told these two guys knew each other. Showing off flying skills? Not sure why... I saw the result.

Anyways. I think we are at a fair level but if it proves to be too harsh I'll tone it down. If it deters that kind of nonsense, so much the better.

I've clipped wings with friendlies and had mine clipped when flying maneuvers in other games, before. I've also accidentally shot down friendlies due to bad visual ID and dropped bombs that took out friendlies flying low and close behind me. I wasn't kicked/banned for any of those instances and would have been peeved if I would have been.

It's your server, Eno, therefore your call, but remember accidents happen and five minutes can feel like an annoying eternity, especially when the infraction was truly accidental or not even your fault.
