I had a bad day. First, I collide with a friendly plane, break my prop and lose a wheel, crash land. Get back in, take off. Get in formation. Wife comes in and Says "why are you playing those stupid games again" speech. loose concentration and crash a perfectly good plane. Get back in, get to the two seaters I have to protect, and an enemy plane slices right through my tail!
Not good, but very fun! (except the wife part).

Here's the problem with the wife. I solved my problem, but remember having it with ex-girlfriends and my wife when we were first married. Women are jealous! They watch the sheer intensity and joy on your face and body language when you play sims. They want that kind of focus on them! They want to be the object of your adoration and devotion and joy, 24-7, not some STUPID GAME, not just when you're horny or want dinner. You have some nerve experiencing near orgasmic pleasure on a daily basis engaging in an activity that does not require her participation! Women are too insecure to tolerate that situation for very long. Spending hours and hours paying attention to her should be your obsession, your source of pleasure, not some STUPID GAME. Your STUPID GAMES appear to be more interesting to you than anything --or anyone-- else.

The solution I employed: I found the wife a hobby of her own. Now I can play my STUPID GAMES in peace while she engages in her hobby.

Remember how women think: She wants to be your hobby, usually because she doesn't have one. FIND THE WIFE A HOBBY! You'll be a happy simmer!

Well, I bought my wife the SIMS 2 way back and she got hooked on it. (Why? I have no idea, I thinks its one of the dumbest games ever) I guess she like making her sims pay virtual bills and go potty (lol). Then she got the sims 3 and a bunch of addons.

This was a great time for me because she couldnt say anything to me about my flight sims, FPS and racing games. But then she grew bored with the sims and doesnt play it anymore, so now she wants us to "spend quality time together". OK, I get it, but I need my Gamming fix or Ill go crazy!

She recently got into that book "50 shades of Grey" ( mommy porn) and shes been out of my hair for a while. but I think shes close to the end of the book now.

I have to find a game for her to get hooked on again.

Fifty Shades of Grey. What is it with that stupid book? I see women reading it everywhere. Here's an excerpt from a review:

"...the characters are out of a 16 year old's fantasy. The main male character is a billionaire (not a millionaire but a billionaire) who speaks fluent French, is basically a concert level pianist, is a fully trained pilot, is athletic, drop dead gorgeous, tall, built perfectly with an enormous *****, and the best lover on the planet. In addition, he's not only self made but is using his money to combat world hunger. Oh yeah, and all of this at the ripe old age of 26! And on top of that, he's never working. Yea, she has a Kindle, thats what she read 50 shades of Grey on. Shes having trouble finding another book she likes. Hopefully soon!

I dont know what it is about that book either. All the woman at work are reading it too! I read a page or two to see what the big deal was and I just dont get it. Ive read better stuff in the Penthouse forum letters. "He thrust his purple helmet warrior into her quivering mound of love pudding". Yea, that bad..

"quivering mound of love pudding"? What exactly are they having sex WITH? I've never once had an experience that I could describe like that...

As for the writing, yeah, that seems to be the way popular fiction is. Twilight and The Hunger Games come to mind. They aren't really well written, have fairly weak characters and plot lines, but yet are popular as all hell, and make more money than entire countries.


I guess I'm pretty lucky. My lady loves games, even if she won't play most of the things that I like to play.
