We flew a slow unmanuverable Short Seaplane, but it carried a torpedo. It was only available in QC, as there were no targets. In real life a wing of scouts would strafe the decks or a warship, keeping everybody's head down, so they couldn't shoot at anybody. And you'd lumber in low and slow till you got close enough to drop that torpedo. But alone you had two chances, slim, and none
There was a 3rd Party Mission where you attacked an at anchor German Cruiser, four times I tried, and four times I died. You flew for about 10 minutes, then attacked the cruiser. The fifth time I flew an hour and a half, broke the cloud bank a few hundred yard away from the Cruiser, my first move was to drop down to the wave tops. He was lined up for a perfect bow shot. I wish I could say I planned it that way, but I didn't, it just worked out that way. Seems his main guns couldn't depress enough to hit me, and all the "archie" was amidships. They jetisoned the anchor chain, and were trying to make steam as I dropped my fish.
A bow shot is a thing of beauty when it works. After the flames stopped there was only an oil slick where that Cruiser Used to Be
But it's like playing CHESS Against your Computer
If it worked once it'll never work again
Three more times I flew, one time the cruiser was a couple miles down the coast, all I could see was the smoke. Another time he was underway out at sea, and the third he was there but facing the wrong direction, he was broadside to me . . . . . . I gave up

There was a structure, it would be truly generous to call it a building. I'd say it was about 150 foot long Railroad Freight Depot, nothing more than two platforms sharing a common roof, it had side walls, yet no front or rear to allow the train access. As I remember the walls were yellow, I knocked them down often enough. It was in old London Town about 500 feet past the power station. The idea was to fly the length of it indoors and stay alive, it sounds easy, it ain't. It was tight, killed 11 pilots there, number 12 did it, but lost his landing gear in the process. How he landed I don't know or care, he made it through that's all that mattered.
By Phase II, it had vanished, only the Tracks Remained, I'd like to think I wasn't the only crazy pilot

Hauksbee is working on new custom missions for P3. Uncleal, (oops, sorry for the typo, I said Uncleal in my mind, really I did) might you still have the P1 Cruiser Attack mission in your archive that you could send to him? I sent a DVD of my old missions collection copied from SimOuthouse and other things that make them work to Hauksbee a couple of weeks ago. I think it had StumpJumper's Short Seaplane in the collection. I would be great if we could reconstruct and fly those memorable old missions again in P3 Quick Scenarios.

Not a chance, that would be back in my AGP days. . . never put that on the external Hard drive, therefore it couldn't be in my archives
How times fly, figure it was roughly six years ago, that Dell 4600 is long gone, a donation to a school in NYC
