I assume the word 'inappropriate' kept popping up so he figured that word would take him directly to the motherlode.

there are other sites that look exactly like youtube, with content that doesnt reside around karaoke covers, home made rap videos filmed in a mall, or rebecca black...., well it might have Rebecca Black.. just not the one your thinking about.

That's why youtube and google images is blocked at the router for the kids' pc. You can't catch all the sites though, so the best security has been having their pc right out in the open where there's no privacy at all. LOL
The parental controls in Vista/7 are extremely good though, you can lock out a lot, set times and see a history in there too.

Searching my 16 year old son's web history is a great time saver for me; all the work has already been done.

If I caught my son googling boobs I'd be tempted to give him a big hug and know he's normal. I think I'd thank God he was doing that too. Then I'd check his results.

Seriously now, how many would be despondent if their 8 y/o we googling the same sex?

Dart your comments almost never fail to make me laugh. It's definitely one of the reasons I like this place.

LOL, my going on 16 year old son`s history is easy to. He has none, was cut off at 14 when he found himself being bullied
by so called facebook friends. I told him at that time I am doing this to save your life. Today he looks back and thanks
me for doing it. I deleted his account since I set it up. And then changed his email without his knowledge, you know the
back door to harassment. Problem solved, even turned off texting on his pay as you go Verizon cell phone, Saved him from
falling into the trap. Now he respects me, and even asks permission to go and do what he never did before, calls me to tell
me where he is at and when he will be home. I love my son and will not him fall into this mess. We are best of friends.
