You don't have this on your special rig? The new bug list at banana is very lengthy. I suspect you are more tolerant to badly broken and unfinished software, because it certainly does not work well on most rigs. PS the Hurricane won't even start now LOL What a mess!
Love this post to the autogen problem from Blackdog
'Once again, too many assumptions in this thread.
Nobody knows if this is an intentional thing, a bug or a limitation.
It's the same thing we had in the previous alpha patch all over again.
People wanted a patch so we got an interim one that was DX10 only. Since the effects are done in DX9 they were not included in the patch. Then people assumed that cutting effects was a "trick" to boost FPS and not something that was brought about by our own desire to get a patch at whatever cost. Then they didn't want DX9 support, even though they wanted the effects.
Now we get effects back and people say they like it, despite the fact that they didn't want to support the API that effects were coded on.
Apparently all that is not irrational and self-contradicting enough, so we get the same thing this week as well with another feature/bug/whatever
As for what is a beta, it's a test. It doesn't promise to improve anything, it promises to test if the improvements work and if they don't, find out what doesn't work so that it can be fixed.
If we want to debate whether speedtree was a good choice or not, we can. But assuming too much while knowing too little will only result in us contradicting ourselves and looking like fools. Why don't we just do what the beta is supposed to be? Download if we want to test, then test and report?'

Exactly what I did Bisher and I'm reporting how bad CoD still remains. Its still not optimized and still extremely buggy and broken. No wonder some report slightly better fps with autogen like that.
I have to agree with Icarus on this point.Yes we all know what Beta means and implies BUT we have been in Beta mode for the last 18 months. We can all agree that what we have know is better than what was first put out but little seems to be learned from beta to beta. Just my two cents worth. I do still get alot of fun out of the game but we should be well past the beta stage.
I believe the SSD makes a huge difference with COD.
I have an SSD and a faster rig than you and I still get stutters. So you must have a "special" rig. This patch has fubarred more than the last one.
What programs do you have installed on your SSD. I only have Windows 7 64 bit, COD, and Hotas peripherials installed on it. Maybe you should reread my posts about Stutters.
Two people can have the exact same system and one can run much better than the other depending on a number of different criteria.

Peripherals and CoD on the SSD, I did everything you outlined more than once. Loading times are better that is it. CoD stutters on most rigs and is IMO still a big unfinished mess. I will try the next patch but it is looking very bleak for CoD right now.

How about CTD's etc. Have you experienced any since you transfered the sim exclusively to an SSD? Again you must reread my posts on Microstutters, I've never said I didn't have them, other than one post that I corrected soon after realizing my mistake, but what I do have are usually minor, and I can get rid of them lower settings. Your right about the sim being unfinished and it will be unfinished till its finished. Hopefully some major progress will be made before the beancounters are forced to shut it down.
